The Conversations That Form Us

As young children we are replete with impressions, needs  and affective responses,
( feeling states). We play in the ambiance of  literal and non-literal descriptors as we  find  words to distinguish these  images and experiences.
We  relay on our short history of experience and the  interpretations that proximate adults and children  offer to  us,  through their  various responses, reactions and interpretations. We are left in this wake of almost knowing. This transitive state from pre-verbal to verbal , non symbolic to symbolic, incites our creative process.  Our imagination  assists us as  we  assemble meaning.   This is the inner languaging  of the self. The becoming ourselves in the context of our small but ever growing world.
